For Agencies Print E-mail

One of the greatest frustrations for Christian agencies is to have families leave the field for lack of educational support of their children. It is one of the main reasons families leave, second only to the retirement of baby-boomers.

Over the past several years, it has become increasingly difficult to find people who are spiritually, morally, emotionally, financially, and culturally ready to serve and teach internationally. Mission:Teach highlights the kind of people agencies look for and will discourage the casual observer or people who are not prepared to serve as Christian educators.

This website does more than list available positions; it links candidates—based on interests, skills, and backgrounds—with the needs of sending agencies.

As a participating agency, you will be able to identify the schools that are connected to your mission and publicize—on the website—the education-related positions you would like to fill. This recruitment tool gathers specific information from candidates before you begin to dialogue with them while they gather information about your agency’s needs. Your fields will be able to highlight their needs via text, video, and pictures and have the capability of updating them as the needs change.

Many mission recruiters will be promoting this website in order to harness the power of cooperation. Colleges, churches, universities, and Christian schools can all be referred to one website, so that all of the participating organizations will reap the benefits.

Consider this: if only 1% of Christian college graduates in education chose to participate, and no other segment of the population applied, there would be multiple applications for every position in the world.

This is the power of Mission:Teach!
